3)Pour a ladleful of batter onto the skillet and spread it in a circular motion to form a thick pancake.

4)Sprinkle the chopped onions, tomatoes, bell peppers, green chilies, cilantro, and grated carrot on top.

5)Press the toppings gently into the batter.

6)Drizzle a few drops of oil around the edges of the uttapam.

C)Cooking:
1)Cover the skillet with a lid and cook on medium-low heat for a few minutes until the base turns golden brown.

2)Flip the uttapam and cook the other side until it is cooked through and crispy.

d)Serve:
1)Remove the uttapam from the skillet and serve it hot with coconut chutney, tomato chutney, or sambar.
